How we work
ERA is a not-for-profit organisation – we pay the licence fees we receive to our Members, retaining only what we need to cover administration.

ERA is accountable to a board of directors including representatives from our member organisations including the BBC, Channel 4 and organisations representing the rights of directors, musicians and screenwriters. These organisations own the rights to the material that the ERA Licence covers, or they represent the creators of this content. All the resources we link to from this website are the intellectual property of our Members.
