In celebration of Father’s Day, Pride Month, and World Refugee Day, we are delighted to present a series of engaging resources for primary teachers. From the dedicated day care of golden-headed lion tamarin dads, to a heart-warming story about the joy of having two fathers, and a poignant docuseries episode on the resilience of young refugees, these materials aim to foster appreciation, inclusivity, and empathy your students.

Ahead of Father’s Day, we are excited to feature a nature clip that delves into the role of fatherhood in the animal kingdom. This engaging resource highlights a day in the life of the golden-headed lion tamarin, where Dad takes charge of day care duties.

In celebration of Pride Month, we are featuring a story which embraces family diversity. In this clip, Will Young reads a heart-warming tale about a little boy who has been adopted and discovers that having two dads is double the fun! This charming story is a perfect resource for you to share with your students, highlighting the joy and love in all family structures and promoting inclusivity and acceptance.

In honour of World Refugee Day, we are featuring a poignant episode from the docuseries “My Life”. This compelling documentary follows the stories of five different children, each uprooted and forced to leave their homes due to conflict. Through their eyes, your students will gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by young refugees and the resilience they exhibit. This episode serves as an invaluable resource to foster empathy and awareness in students about the global refugee crisis.
